NORTHPORT’S FIRST BEER GARDEN – CELEBRATION ON TUESDAY AUGUST 7TH
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Harbor Head Brewing Co was founded by Sosh Andriano who’s desire to build a brewery was about more than just making beer, it was about creating a way of life and building a community with which to share experiences. Harbor Head Brewery’s tag line: Live Your Now -represents what we strive to bring to our beer and our lives: beauty, strength, simplicity, and BALANCE.
Andriano opened in spring of 2017 with the support of family, friends, and the local community. What started as a tasting room only has since developed with the approval of the Village of Northport on July 17th, 2018 into an exciting venue of collaboration and creativity.
Our brew team which consists of 4 employees, and several front of house teammates - are grounded in the concept of using local ingredients whenever possible. From wild ales, fermented with our native New England mixed microbe culture, to our more hop-forward offerings, we aim to produce beer that is both approachable and engaging.
Today, we have 8 beers on tap offering flights and pints along with crowlers and growlers to go! We currently have our Blonde Ale in 6 packs and are excited to have the first of many limited releases of NoPoCo on Tuesday, August 21st at 3 p.m.!
Named after the Northport Coast, our original double hopped NE IPA is a liquid expression of our local playground. Brewed with citra and dry hopped El Dorado.
Harbor Head Brewery is located at 81 Fort Salogna Road in Britannia Yachting Center in beautiful Northport. Our tasting room and beer patio is situated feet away from The Wales Tale with a view of the marina. Open 12 noon – 10 p.m. daily through Labor Day.
On Tuesday, August 7th from 4 – 7 p.m., Harbor Head will be offering buy a pint and purchase a Harbor Head 16 oz glass for $4 (one per customer while supplies last), a free beer with a purchase of a flight and local oysters: Great Gun oysters out of Moriches Bay, Fire Island Blues from the Great South Bay, local Little Necks, Cape Cod Duxbury and Fleet oysters along with a behind the scenes tour with the brewers!
